Я хочу́ пора́довать ма́му цветами.
I want to make my mum happy with flowers.
Perfective of ра́довать; often with an instrumental of the thing that pleases. The reflexive пора́доваться means 'be glad'.
Examples
Том очень стара́ется пора́довать Мэри.
Tom bends over backwards to make Mary happy.
Улучшающиеся оценки сына очень порадовали мать.
The son's improving grades made his mother very happy.
Успех, одержанный студентом, порадовал всех преподавателей.
