to breathe
Не клади сли́шком мно́го пу́дры, ко́же бу́дет тру́дно дыша́ть.
Don't put on too much powder or your skin won't be able to breathe.
Also used of skin or soil 'breathing'; дышать чем-л. = to breathe in something (fresh air etc.).
2.
(rare) to sniff (glue or solvents), to huffdrugs
Подро́стки дыша́ли кле́ем в подъе́зде.
The teenagers were sniffing glue in the stairwell.
Colloquial; with the instrumental: дышать клеем.
