I like playing the guitar.
Imperfective (perfective: понравиться). The thing liked is the subject and the person who likes it stands in the dative: мне нравится = I like.

to like (a person), to fancy
Ты мне о́чень нра́вишься.
I like you a lot.
Of romantic or physical attraction; the admired person is the subject.

Usage info

For Russian learners: think of the construction "Мне нра́вится" as meaning literally 'Me it pleases' > 'It pleases me'. It is much easier to remember that way.
