Figurative: of noticing something not obvious.

to examine closely, to scrutinize, to look over
Она́ внима́тельно разгляде́ла ка́ждую фотогра́фию в альбо́ме.
She examined every photo in the album closely.
For the ongoing action of examining, Russian uses the imperfective разглядывать.
