to undergo treatment, to be treated, to undergo a curemedicine
Я тепе́рь лечу́сь у окули́ста.
I'm being treated by an eye doctor now.
Often with у + doctor (у врача) or от + illness.
2.
to be curable, to be treatable, to healmedicine
Э́та боле́знь легко́ ле́чится антибио́тиками.
This illness is easily cured with antibiotics.
Used of the illness itself, not the patient.

Examples

Он лечится только средствами аллопатии.
He is treated only with allopathic remedies.
Тебе нужно лечи́ться.
You need treatment.
Его отправили лечиться в психушку.
They sent him to a psychiatric hospital for treatment.
