Она́ накрути́ла во́лосы на бигуди́.
She wound her hair onto curlers.
Of thread, wire, hair etc. wound onto a reel, curler or similar; the thing wound is in the accusative, the core takes на + accusative.
2.
to wrap around, to wind around, to twist around
Он накрути́л бинт на ру́ку.
He wrapped a bandage around his hand.
The object being covered is wrapped up by what is wound around it.
3.
to jack up (a price), to inflate (a price), to overchargecommerce
Продавцы́ накрути́ли це́ну вдво́е.
The sellers jacked the price up twofold.
Colloquial; of sellers or middlemen adding a big markup.
