Imperfective; describes something taking or having a curved shape.

The river wound its way among the hills.
Of rivers, roads, paths following a curving course.

(rare) to bend down, to stoop, to contort oneself
Он изгиба́лся, достава́я мяч и́з-под шка́фа.
He was contorting himself to get the ball out from under the cupboard.
Of a person bending the body, often repeatedly or with effort.
