    Chiefly in set phrases with the instrumental: изойти кровью 'bleed to death', изойти слезами 'cry one's eyes out'.

    Э́то предложе́ние изошло́ от него́.

    This proposal came from him.

    Bookish and dated; the imperfective исходить is the usual form.

  • 3.

    (rareto elapse, to run out, to expire

    Вре́мя изошло́, отве́та так и не бы́ло.

    The time ran out and there was still no answer.

    Archaic.
