    В го́роде есть хоро́ший музе́й.

    There is a good museum in the town.

    Used for all persons and numbers; negated by нет + genitive.

    is, are, am

    Я оста́нусь тем, что я есть.

    I will stay what I am.

    The only surviving present-tense form of быть; mostly in definitions and emphatic statements, otherwise omitted.
