Usage info

It is better to use the perfective verb зако́нчить which does not have a sexual meaning.

Надо ко́нчить э́ту рабо́ту под ве́чер.
That work needs to be finished by evening.
Никогда не ду́мал, что мы вот так вот ко́нчим.
I never imagined we'd end up like this.
Мы уже ко́нчили рабо́ту.
We've already done our work.
Если будешь так вести маши́ну, то ко́нчишь тем, что попадёшь в больни́цу.
If you drive your car like that, you'll end up in hospital.
Она ко́нчила чита́ть письмо́.
She finished reading the letter.
