Usage info

жени́ться: In Russian, "жениться" is used when talking about men or couples getting married. When talking about women, you should use "выйти замуж".

verb + на + prepositional case

Сказа́ть по пра́вде, мы пожени́лись в про́шлом году.To tell the truth, we got married last year.

Когда я уви́дел их двоих на свида́нии, то спроси́л: "Вы собира́етесь пожени́ться?"When I saw the two of them on a date, I asked them: "Are you going to marry?"
