to estimate, to reckon roughly, to work out approximately
Он прики́нул, ско́лько де́нег ну́жно на доро́гу.
He estimated how much money was needed for the trip.
Often with в уме or на глаз; implies a quick, approximate calculation.
2.
to imagine, to figure, to think over
Прики́нь, что бы ты сде́лал на моём ме́сте.
Imagine what you would do in my place.
Colloquial; the imperative прикинь! is used like "just imagine!".
3.
(rare) to try on (clothes)
Она́ прики́нула пла́тье пе́ред зе́ркалом.
She tried the dress on in front of the mirror.
Colloquial.
