Usually приковать к + dative (to a wall, a radiator).

His illness confined him to bed.
Often passive: прикован к постели "bedridden".

to rivet, to capture (attention), to hold spellbound
Фильм прикова́л внима́ние зри́телей.
The film riveted the audience's attention.
Typically приковать внимание/взгляд.
