A soaring eagle can be seen above the mountains.
This sense is stressed паря́щий (on the second syllable); the steam-related senses are stressed па́рящий.

A steaming kettle stood on the table.

steaming (food), stewing in steamcooking

The cook steaming the fish stood at the stove.
