intend (to do something), be going to, mean to
Я не наме́рен де́лать э́то.
I do not intend to do that.
Predicative short form only, used with an infinitive: я намерен, она намерена, они намерены.

(rare) measured out
Ткань уже́ наме́рена и отло́жена.
The cloth has already been measured out and set aside.
Short participle of намерить, mostly of cloth or other goods sold by measure.
