The fishermen are hauling the net to the shore.
Usually with до + genitive naming the end point.

to reach, to stretch as far as, to extend to
Провод не дотя́гивает до розе́тки.
The cord doesn't reach the socket.
Colloquial; of a cord, rope or similar.
3.
to hold out (until), to last (until), to make it (until)
Больной едва́ дотя́гивает до у́тра.
The patient is barely holding out till morning.
Colloquial.

He could barely make it to the marathon finish line.
Мы едва дотягиваем до конца месяца.
We can barely make it to the end of the month.
Лю́ди скло́нны хвали́ть ваше владе́ние иностра́нным языко́м только тогда, когда очевидно, что вы ещё не дотя́гиваете до носи́теля языка́.
People tend to only compliment you on your language ability when it's apparent that you still don't quite sound like a native speaker.
