She is embarrassed about her accent.
With the genitive: стесняться своего акцента.

(rare) to restrain oneself, to hold back, to restrict oneself
Он не стесня́ется в выраже́ниях.
He doesn't mince his words.
Mostly in the negative: не стесняться в выражениях 'not to mince one's words'.
