Он всё вре́мя задева́ет меня́ ло́ктем.
He keeps brushing me with his elbow.
Imperfective of заде́ть; often with вinstrumental or за + accusative.
2.
to catch on, to get caught on, to snag
Пальто́ постоя́нно задева́ет за ру́чку две́ри.
The coat keeps catching on the door handle.
Usually задевать за + accusative.
3.
to hurt, to offend, to touch (emotionally), to affect
Его сло́ва си́льно задева́ют меня́.
His words really hurt me.
Of words or remarks that wound or stir someone.
4.
to mislay, to misplace, to stick somewhere
Куда́ ты задева́л мою шля́пу?
Where did you mislay my hat?
Colloquial; perfective, usually with куда.
