Usage info
зайти к кому: to stop by someone's place зайти за кем: to stop and pick someone up
Examples: Он зашёл к сестре (Dat.). He dropped in to see his sister. Он зашёл за сестрой (Inst.). He stopped by to pick up his sister.

- Я собира́лся к вам вчера́ зайти́.I intended to have called on you yesterday.
- Она попроси́ла его зайти́ к ней домой, но он отказа́лся.She asked him to come into her house, but he refused.
