Usage info
зайти к кому: to stop by someone's place зайти за кем: to stop and pick someone up
Examples: Он зашёл к сестре (Dat.). He dropped in to see his sister. Он зашёл за сестрой (Inst.). He stopped by to pick up his sister.
Examples
- Если в ко́мнате бы́ло два челове́ка и трое вы́шли, то один должен зайти́ обратно, чтобы в ко́мнате нико́го не бы́ло.If there are two in a room and three go out, one must go in, so that none is in the room.
- Дорога́я, нам нужно зайти́ в суперма́ркет, у нас зако́нчилось молоко́.Sweetheart, we need to go to the supermarket. We ran out of milk.
