On the train we fell into conversation with the man next to us.
Often с кем-л. (with somebody), typically of a chance encounter.

to become talkative, to find plenty to talk about, to warm to one's subject
Снача́ла он молча́л, а потом разговори́лся.
At first he said nothing, but then he became quite talkative.
Of someone who was quiet at first and then cannot stop talking.

Examples

Maybe we'll have a talk one of these days.
Мужики тяпнули по стопке и разговорились.
The men knocked back a shot and got to talking.
Поев, мы разговори́лись о том, что сде́лали в тот день.
As we ate our meal, we talked about what we had done that day.
Мы разговорились с каирцем в кафе.
We got chatting with a Cairene in a café.
Она разговори́лась с сосе́дями.
She fell into conversation with her neighbors.
В слове разговориться приставка раз- показывает усиление действия.
In the word разговориться, the prefix раз- indicates an intensification of the action.

We got talking with a fellow countryman over a cup of tea.
