Usage info
ты́сяча as a noun of quantity. ты́сячей + genitive plural. Ex: с ты́сячей друз ей ты́сяча as a numeral: ты́сячью + instrumental plural. Ex: с ты́сячью рабочими люде́й is preferred when qualified by an adjective. Ex: ты́сяча че́стных люде́й люде́й is also preferred with ты́сячи
Note: ты́сяча = specific while ты́сячи = a mass of quantity
