1.
to act in a film, to appear in a movie, to be filmedcinema

She is acting in a new film.
Usually with в + prepositional: сниматься в фильме.
2.
to be photographed, to have one's picture taken, to pose for a photo
Он не лю́бит снима́ться.
He doesn't like having his picture taken.
3.
to be cancelled, to be lifted, to be withdrawn
Че́рез три ча́са бронь автомати́чески снима́ется.
After three hours the reservation is automatically cancelled.
Passive use: of reservations, bans, restrictions, agenda items.
4.
to come off, to be removable, to detach
Кры́шка легко́ снима́ется.
The lid comes off easily.
5.
to deregister, to sign off (a register), to check outadministration
Мне ну́жно снима́ться с учёта по ста́рому а́дресу.
I need to deregister at my old address.
Usually сниматься с учёта.
